REPLACED chapter 4 all collectibles

In Chapter 4 of **REPLACED**, titled “Brothers in Arms,” the game returns to the Western Station hub. This chapter is dense with collectibles, including lore scans, music tracks, and permanent upgrades. Many of these are tied to specific side quests that can only be completed during this chapter.

## Hospital Area Collectibles

You begin the chapter in the Western Station hospital.

* **Scan: Doctor’s Orders**
* **Location:** Immediately after waking up and gaining control of Warren, walk to the left. The scan is located on a document near the quarantine sign, close to where the Doctor usually stands.
* **Side Quest: The Old Man’s Request**
* **Location:** Speak to the man lying in the hospital bed just to the left of the “Doctor’s Orders” scan. He asks you to find his family at their flower tent.
* **Scan: Family Photo**
* **Location:** Reward for the Old Man’s quest. Exit the hospital and head right under the bridge to find a green tent covered in flowers.
* **Puzzle Solution:** Interact with the tent and investigate the items to find the code. The code for the locked box is **02 – 18 – 1944**. Once opened, you automatically scan the photo.
* **Health Upgrade #5: Genetic Profile**
* **Location:** Return to the hospital and speak to the Old Man after obtaining the Family Photo. He will give you this upgrade, which permanently increases your maximum health.

## Western Station Exterior & Underpass

* **Scan: Nursery Rhyme**
* **Location:** Outside the hospital, head right toward the main station entrance. Look for a signpost or a small board near the men sitting under an umbrella/overpass. Scan the text on the sign.
* **Railway Station Cat #2**
* **Location:** While technically in Yo-Yo’s workshop area (accessed from the exterior alley), you can find the second of three collectible cats here. Interact with the orange-and-white cat sitting on a chair or barrel near the entrance to the workshop.

## Western Station Interior (Main Concourse)

* **Music Track #5: Great Power, Great Responsibility**
* **Location:** Enter the main station. Walk to the far left of the ground floor, near the entrance doors. The music track is found on a device sitting on a bench or crate.
* **Scan: Phoenix Initiative Takes Control**
* **Location:** From the station entrance, head right and go down the small set of stairs toward the “FOOD” sign. The scan is on a poster/sign to the left of the lamp at the bottom of the stairs.
* **Scan: About Reach**
* **Location:** Go into the Food/Diner area on the right side of the station. Walk to the far left end of the diner where the council members were sitting in Chapter 2. The scan is on the table.
* **Item/Scan: Station Meal**
* **Location:** Part of Excalibur’s quest. Speak to the bartender/chef at the counter in the Food area. He will give you a burger, which counts as a collectible item.

## The Arcade

* **Scan: Mommy’s Letter**
* **Location:** Enter Susan’s Arcade (left side of the station). The scan is located on a small table or box to the right of Susan, the arcade owner.
* **Weapon Upgrade #2: Kinetic Inductor**
* **Location:** Interact with the middle arcade machine (“Jumper”). You must beat the high score (5,000 points). Once achieved, speak to Susan to receive the upgrade, which increases energy gain per hit.

## Train Platform & Hidden Areas

* **Scan: Ironwood’s Note**
* **Location:** Go up the stairs to the main train platform. Walk to the far left end of the platform. The scan is on a generator located next to the telescope you fixed in a previous chapter.
* **Music Track #6: Prayer of the Damned Ones**
* **Location:** Part of Excalibur’s quest. After feeding the dog (Excalibur) the Station Meal, follow him to a hidden door outside. Inside this secret room, jump up to the ledge on the right to find the music tape.
* **Pickaxe Upgrade #1: Reduction Gear**
* **Location:** Continue following Excalibur to the end of the hidden basement area. After a short cutscene, you will receive this upgrade, allowing your pickaxe to generate energy for your firearm.
* **Scan: Unsent Letter to Mole**
* **Location:** Automatically obtained alongside the Reduction Gear upgrade at the end of Excalibur’s quest.

## Yo-Yo’s Workshop & Tempest’s Room

* **Scan: Solar Panels Are Safe**
* **Location:** Inside Yo-Yo’s workshop, interact with the “NEWS” computer terminal on the right side of the room.
* **Scan: Laboratory Incident Update**
* **Location:** Also found by interacting with the computer terminal in Yo-Yo’s workshop.
* **Side Quest: Edward’s Map**
* **Location:** Speak to Edward Hughes (the man with yellow text) near the station entrance. He wants a map from Tempest’s room.
* **Scan: Edward’s Diary**
* **Location:** Go to Tempest’s room (far right of the settlement). Go upstairs and interact with the map on the wall. As you exit the building, a scene will trigger. You will find Edward nearby and automatically scan his diary.
* **Med-Stim Upgrade #2: Rechargeable Ampoule**
* **Location:** After finding Edward’s diary, head to the far left of the main street (past the station) to find a large yellow mural. Interact with it to finish the quest and receive the upgrade, which increases your Med-Stim capacity.
* **Scan: Old Logs**
* **Location:** Automatically obtained upon completing Edward’s quest at the mural.
