In **LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight**, revealing all collectibles and activities on the Gotham City map is a multi-step process involving specific character abilities and environmental interactions. Unlike older LEGO games that relied solely on Red Bricks, this title uses a “Radio Tower” system similar to other open-world action games.
## Hacking Radio Towers (Primary Method)
The most effective way to populate your map with icons for Riddler Puzzles, Wayne Caches, and other side activities is to hack the **Radio Towers** scattered across Gotham City.
### Requirements
* **Unlock Batgirl:** You must progress through the main story until **Chapter 4**. Batgirl is unlocked as a playable character during this chapter.
* **Hackarang Ability:** Batgirl possesses the “Hackarang” gadget, which is the only tool capable of interfacing with the Radio Tower terminals.
### How to Reveal the Map
1. **Locate a Tower:** Radio Towers are tall structures usually found on the rooftops of the highest buildings in each district. They are marked by a faint red light before being hacked.
2. **Reach the Terminal:** Use a flying character or Batgirl’s grapple to reach the base of the tower.
3. **Use the Hackarang:** Aim and throw Batgirl’s Hackarang at the glowing yellow/blue terminal on the tower.
4. **Complete the Mini-game:** A brief hacking mini-game will trigger. Once completed, the tower will turn blue, and all nearby collectibles, puzzles, and points of interest will be permanently marked on your map for that district.

## Red Brick Detectors (Secondary Method)
While Radio Towers show you *where* a puzzle or cache is located, **Red Bricks** provide on-screen indicators (arrows) that point directly to the collectible when you are in the immediate vicinity. There are 23 Red Bricks in total, several of which are dedicated to finding items:
* **Red Brick Finder:** Reveals the location of other Red Bricks.
* **Minikit Detector:** Essential for finding the 10 Minikits hidden within story and Free Play missions.
* **WayneTech Cache Detector:** Points toward hidden gear and upgrade materials in the open world.
* **Bat-Symbol Detector:** Helps locate the collectible Bat-Symbols hidden in high or obscured places.
**Note:** Most Red Bricks must be found in specific missions and then purchased in the Batcave’s Trophy Room using Studs before they can be toggled on in the “Extras” menu.

## Collectibles Revealed on the Map
Once a Radio Tower is hacked, the following icons will appear on your map:
* **Riddler Puzzles:** Green question mark icons.
* **Cluemaster Puzzles:** Purple clock or grid icons.
* **Wayne Caches:** Blue crate icons containing tech parts.
* **Zoo Animals:** Small paw-print icons for the animal collection side-quest.
* **Bat-Symbols:** Small bat wing icons (usually requires being closer to the location even after hacking).
* **SubWayne Stations:** Fast travel points.

## Important Caveats and Tips
* **Progression Gating:** Some icons will not appear on the map even after hacking a tower if you have not reached a certain point in the story. For example, certain villain-specific puzzles (like Mr. Freeze’s ice puzzles) may only appear after you have encountered that villain in the campaign.
* **Map Filtering:** If your map becomes too cluttered, use the **Map Filter** (usually accessed by pressing a specific button prompted on the map screen, like Square on PlayStation or X on Xbox) to toggle specific collectible types on or off.
* **Interactive Maps:** If you are struggling to find a specific tower or a bugged icon, external resources like **MapGenie** and **IGN** have released interactive maps for *Legacy of the Dark Knight* that allow you to track 100% completion progress outside of the game.
* **Batcave Trophies:** These are unique collectibles that often do not show up on the standard Gotham map. They are typically found within the Batcave hub itself or inside specific interior locations like Ace Chemicals or the Iceberg Lounge.
